A funky throwback to the past! This RC model assembly kit is a comical recreation of a racing version of the Honda City Turbo released in Japan in 1983. The sturdy resin body features impeccable castings, and the kit includes a driver figure with a helmet for an even more cheerful atmosphere. Stickers are included to decorate the body and driver's helmet. The WR-02C chassis, a new feature for this model, rides on tires with asymmetrical left-right tread patterns.
WR-02C Chassis - The joy of wheelies! The WR-02C chassis with a 185 mm wheelbase uses a robust monocoque frame that surrounds and protects the gearbox, reinforced by side members. The gear differential housed in the sealed gearbox receives its power from the mid-mounted motor and transmits it to the rear wheels. The longitudinal position of the battery contributes to the model's optimal weight distribution. As a result, when the City Turbo accelerates sharply, it performs a dynamic and thrilling wheelie, cushioned by the anti-wheelie bar that prevents the car from tipping over. The steering servo is also positioned along the chassis axis, with a two-link system for optimal handling. The model also features four-wheel independent double wishbone suspension for a smooth ride. For ease of assembly, the gearbox and engine are pre-assembled.
