In 1956 the France and England at the same time started the studies of a supersonic transport aircraft. They result in 1961 to two separate projects that merge on November 29, 1962 in unique project, comprising four main companies: aerospace, BAC, Rolls-Royce and SNECMA. The first prototype 001 leaves the factory in Toulouse on 11 December 1967. Concorde has already shattered records for altitude (21000 m) and speed (March 2.2). January 21, 1976 opened an era under the colors of Air France and British Airways, new commercial scheduled air transport.
