Model of the Char Panther Ausf.A on a scale of 1/72 from Italeri reference 7018.
The Panzerkampfwagen V "Panther" is certainly one of the most famous tanks of the Second World War. It had been developed to counter the Soviet T-34 and KV-1 tanks that outclassed the now obsolete Panzer III and Panzer IV on the Eastern Front. Powered by a 700hp Maybach V12 engine, it was armed with the high-velocity 42 75mm KwK gun, which was highly effective against enemy armor. Well balanced, combining speed, mobility, effective armament and protection with the adoption of sloped armor, the Panther can be considered one of the best tanks of the time. It was used on all the main fronts from Italy to France, and of course the Eastern Front.
Model to paint and assemble.
