Crawler CRX2 RTR 1/10 Hobbytech

The CRX2 has all the features and advantages of a modern, high-performance scale model. It is now available in an RTR version with a hand-painted long cab lexan body. On this RTR version, the body is equipped with functional LEDs.

To develop the CRX2, we started from scratch and designed a completely new product that was different from our iconic CRX. We made all the changes requested by users we met at specialist events like the Model Festival.

The wheelbase of the CRX2 RTR is 313 mm but it is possible to modify it and choose from 4 dimensions (305, 313, 317 and 324 mm).

The bridges are much more realistic and are now equipped with reinforced gimbals.

The new spindles allow for a 0° Ackerman. When cornering, the wheels remain parallel, which greatly improves the steering angle.

To avoid the Torque Twist effect (wheel lifting during acceleration), the new transmission allows the central driveshafts to rotate in opposite directions. The CRX2 can move with much more stability and efficiency.

The CRX2 RTR is equipped with 4 Wolf Shocks. These realistic shock absorbers with internal springs can be set to droop or semi-droop mode.

For added realism, the CRX2 RTR comes with 106/36mm Climber tires. This tire, designed by us, ensures perfect traction on a wide variety of terrain.

The CRX2 also features other major changes such as new suspension links, a multi-position battery mount and a new CMS plate (mounting the steering servo on the chassis).

Electronically, this RTR version comes with a 21kg waterproof steering servo, a 35T brushed motor and a Konect KT3X radio set.

Adjustable wheelbase
Thanks to its adjustable wheelbase, it is possible to adapt a large number of body styles to the CRX2

Multi-position battery holder
It is possible to choose different battery positions depending on the desired performance. The system also allows the use of different battery formats.

ACKERMANN 0°
The new axles and CVD drive shafts allow for a 0° Ackerman angle. When cornering, the wheels remain parallel, which improves the steering angle.

Anti Torque Twist System
To avoid torque twist (the wheel lifting during acceleration), the new transmission allows the central driveshafts to rotate in reverse. The CRX2 can move with much greater stability and efficiency.

TIRES, "CLIMBER" 106/36
This tire designed and manufactured by Hobbytech ensures perfect traction for your scale model. This tire is a hit with enthusiasts! It is compatible with the TRX4. It comes with a foam insert and fits 1.9 rims.

Complete Wolf Type 90mm shock absorbers
Setting the “Wolf” shocks for the CRX2:
Recommended assembly = semi-droop: small soft spring at the bottom and medium soft spring at the top.
“Scale” realism type assembly = droop adjustment: medium-sized soft spring at the bottom and small soft spring at the top.
Lubrication = filling a part of the body with very fluid silicone oil (100 cps for example)
