EXTREME GROUND GUARD
The TRX4 scale model is a crawler equipped with offset drivetrains. This allows the drivetrain to be raised and increases ground clearance, preventing it from getting stuck on obstacles. Compared to a conventional straight-through drivetrain, the tires are smaller for the same ground clearance. This results in increased stability by lowering the center of gravity.
The TRX-4 chassis has a head start on other crawler chassis.

TORSION DUE TO COUPLE IS ELIMINATED
The raised transmission uses a reduction gear system at the wheel axle. This provides twice the reduction ratio compared to a conventional transmission and significantly reduces torque-induced twisting. The torque from the TITAN 550 engine is fully transmitted to the drive system without any energy loss due to system twisting.

GEOMETRY IMPROVEMENT
The axle geometry raises the axle supports and recenters the drive shafts, significantly reducing the suspension's operating angles. This results in less stress on the drive shafts, and the higher suspension links provide more clearance with less surface area for snagging on rocks. The steering arms are raised and positioned outside the contact zones.

RIGID METAL CHASSIS
A reinforced, ladder-shaped chassis with molded cross members forms a rigid assembly allowing the suspension to do its job properly.
This difference will be felt on tracks where eliminating chassis flexibility will allow for precise wheel placement when moving on technical terrain.

DIFFERENTIAL LOCKING FROM THE TRANSMITTER
Depending on your driving needs, Traxxas allows you to lock or unlock the front and rear differentials via your transmitter. Leave the differentials unlocked for relaxed driving on a track with tight corners and get better handling at high speeds.
When the trail gets technical, lock the front and rear differentials, or just the front differential, for better traction on extreme terrain. This Traxxas design (patented) has already proven its reliability, as it's featured on the 1/10 scale Summit. New micro cables control the differentials with a scale appearance and without restricting the suspension's significant articulation.

45° STEERING WHEEL DRIVE
Typical crawlers sacrifice turning radius for traction. The TRX-4's remotely controlled differentials unlock to allow this 45° steering angle.
Once you have cleared the obstacle, lock the differential for optimal traction.

SHORT/LONG GEARBOX
When the terrain becomes rough, use the selector on the transmitter to engage low range with four-wheel drive for extra torque. Switch to high range to tackle obstacle-free trails. The suspension design is engineered to absorb rough terrain with ease while maintaining a scale appearance.
This unparalleled versatility allows the TRX-4 to adapt to all situations or types of piloting.

WATERPROOF

MODEL APPEARANCE
The TRX-4 is modeled after the legendary Land Rover Defender, with meticulous attention to detail for an authentic 4x4 driving experience. Traxxas has included a real spare tire, a winch, and extra jerrycans. You can even attach accessories to the included roof rack. The robust bumpers provide excellent protection and are equipped with tow hooks. The front bumper is designed to accommodate a wide range of off-road vehicle accessories.

INTERNAL MUDGUARDS
The scale detailing doesn't stop at the bodywork. To prevent rocks, mud, and twigs from getting inside the chassis, Traxxas has installed detailed fenders underneath that blend seamlessly with the scale appearance of the rocker panels and shock mounts. The fenders also feature housings for optional LED lighting to illuminate the track at night.
Spotlights are present where needed. Internal wing protectors guard against stone chips.

CRUISE CONTROL
The TQi radio system transmitter is equipped with cruise control for long-distance treks. Set your speed from the transmitter, then use the multifunction button for fine-tuning to match the pace of the explorers' caravan.
The cruise control system is easy and comfortable for the TRX-4 and will be your companion for hours of driving and exploration fun.

3S SPEED VARIATOR
The new XL 5 HV speed controller has a 3S capability for more powerful and efficient movement.
New control profiles have been added for smooth and precise operation. A new profile facilitates smooth steering throughout all your adventures, and a crawler profile enables hill starts and instant reverse for difficult and technical terrain.
Each one will allow you to easily navigate through obstacles. A battery life of up to 2 hours is possible thanks to the use of a Traxxas LiPo iD 3S 5000mAh battery pack.

Canyon Trail Tires 1.9
Canyon 1.9 track tires with special foam treads are extra supple and offer excellent grip, providing superior traction on rocky terrain with convincing realism. The 12mm steel wheel hexes allow the TRX-4 chassis to be compatible with a wide range of 1.9 wheel and tire combinations.

TRAXXAS STRENGTH
Leave your tools in your toolbox. The Traxxas TRX-4 chassis is built to withstand the rigors of any terrain and provide all-day driving fun. The chassis' foundations include two 1.5mm steel side frames, large-diameter steel tie rods, large ball joints that maintain a firm suspension setup, highly reliable steel CV joints, and a smooth, quiet transmission. Furthermore, over the past three decades, composite parts have been improved in strength and reliability.

GTS ALUMINUM SHOCK ABSORBERS
New hydraulic shock absorbers have been designed exclusively for this TRX-4 chassis. These anodized aluminum components provide excellent damping performance and feature threaded bodies for easy ride height adjustment. Their realism is perfect, and their performance is further enhanced by the O-ring cap and double seals at their base.

EXTREME CAPABILITIES
The TRX-4's front and rear approach angles allow it to tackle obstacles head-on. The front-mounted motor provides weight distribution for better hill-climbing performance compared to other chassis designs.
