Description

By winning the first two events, the schooner Endeavour had put a serious mortgage on the Cup. The third regatta was the most exciting. Unfortunately, fate did not allow the skipper, Sir Thomas Sopwith, to postpone the America's Cup. The Rainbow opponent crosses the finish line with a handful of seconds ahead.

The assembly box contains: pre-cut wooden keel and frames; bridge and cladding in noble wood; lined with lime and mahogany wood; pre-cut wood and metal superstructures; photogravures; masts and rigging; cloth sails; instructions and construction plans.
