Alfa Romeo Giulia 1600 model in 1:24 scale of Italeri reference 3668.

The Alfa Romeo Giulia Spider, produced from 1962 to 1965, can be considered the evolution of the Giulietta Spider, from which it took the main aesthetic lines of the very successful design. The Giulia was equipped with a 1,570cc in-line four-cylinder engine mounted longitudinally and more powerful than the Giulietta's 1,300cc engine. It was paired with a five-speed synchronized transmission. The adoption of the new engine had required modifications to the front bonnet, which had become a distinctive and characteristic element of the car. Aesthetic improvements have also been made to the interior, steering wheel and instrumentation. It was produced in two versions: "normal" with 92hp and "Veloce" with two carburettors with 112hp. It has been a great commercial success, due in particular to its inimitable and highly appreciated "made in Italy" design.
